All our sculptures are created by hand with simple tools. The artists personally select pieces of Stone which inspire them and they then start with hand picks to create shape in their stone. After days or weeks of hand carving, they present a collection of sculpture to us and a fair price is agreed for each sale. They are extremely good at trading and these negotiations can take a long time. We then transport these fairly traded products back to the UK and slowly we have built up a a unique collection of contemporary and traditional art here in Cheshire. Our collection is available for viewing by visitors - by appointment, just ring or email us first.
Selecting our sculptures and bringing them home is a difficult and long process. The sculptures are bound in wadding by our own staff in Zimbabwe. They used to work in the many textile factories, but these are all sadly shut now, due to the economic situation. They had never undertaken this type of work before, but they enjoyed it so much, it cost us a fortune in packaging as they were exhuberant in their wrapping - but we had no breakages at all! . The completed packages are placed in boxes, loaded into a container, sealed and then transported by rail and sea to the UK. In the UK we have no staff, we must personally unpack and store each one of our purchases ourselves, it takes weeks and it's normally snowing! Sculptures are then placed either in our Sculpture Garden, the Interiors showroom or placed in store for exhibition later in the year.
At every stage of the process we try to ensure that each sculpture is just as the Artist intended and beautifully presented for our visitors.

During the Summer months you will find us at a variety of Country Fairs and Flower Shows predominately in the North West, but Caerleon Sculpture Festival in Wales is one of our great supporters.
